Another day, another leak from the special edition R2-D2 Droid 2. Can we drag out the releases of these any longer? Should we expect widgets tomorrow? I will say that the Boba Fett paper up above is pretty much 100% amazing though. There are 14 in all, I’ve highlighted a few in the gallery after the jump.

ok, any time I try to set one of these as my wallpaper.. it is always asking me to crop it.. anyone else get that?

Hey guys I have a D1 and I'm downloading the file and it keeps telling me the file is not supported on my device. Any ideas guys? Thanks for the help in advance.
I had the same problem. You have to use root explorer or Astro manager (or a similar file manager) and extract the files. long press on them once you find them and extract all. I had to reboot my phone once they were extracred so that they would show up, in my gallery
It wont even let me download it let alone extract it, lol.
You can download it to a computer, then connect your phone and transfer. Mine was able to download straight to the phone.
I'd love the sounds that go with the phone, I think that would be it. The widgets don't look that great. Hopefully they will work nicely with the milestone 2

Where should I extract these I can find them under wallpaper in my gallery also how do I make it where idont have that stupid box that resizes my picturethat I'm using for my wallpaper…

I was doing the hunt for the missing r2d2 droids.. But gave up because I don't know what I'd do with one if I DID win.. Bleh..

I agree, I tried the R2D2 boot animation on my Droid, and it lagged a lot. Uninstalled it. Next tried the live wallpapers, not any better. The Boba Fett one pictured here is about the only one I'd use.

You don't. Just download and extract the wallpapers from it. 🙂

depends on the program you use. Windows can unzip it for you, just download the folder to your desktop and right click it and select unzip. Or you can dl these directly to your phone and unzip them using astro, long press the file folder and select extract. hope it helps…
Then of course the notifications and ringtones will be more that we need. 🙂
