Yessir, The Droid Life Show episode 16 is going down tonight! After yesterday’s big HTC event in NYC, we have sooooo much to talk about when it comes to the One, their new flagship phone for 2013. And after all of the One talk in the world happens, we’ll talk about the new Google Glass UI video that was released today, toss around the idea that Google will open retail stores this year, see if NVIDIA can be successful with the Tegra 4i, share our favorite apps and games from the last week, and even answer some of your questions from this week’s Q&A session. We’re live at HTC’s big event in NYC where the world is expecting them to announce their new flagship smartphone, the One. Nothing is official at this time, but the device has appeared in a variety of press renders and early pictures leading up to this moment, so we at least sort of know what to expect in terms of looks. When it comes to the technology used inside to make this phone standout, we are still pretty clueless, and that’s exciting.

Stick with us as we report live from the event. Afterwards, we will likely have a chance to get our hands all over the device, so you may as well hang out all day. 

Welcome to episode 15 of The Droid Life Show! In tonight’s episode, we plan to toss around the idea that the Motorola X Phone will be a “game changer,” decide if we care that the Galaxy S4 will look just like the Galaxy S3, share some favorite apps and games, analyze HTC’s M7 teaser videos and images, and wonder why Verizon support still thinks that Samsung provides updates to the Galaxy Nexus. Here we go, Droid Life Show episode 14 starts now! A lot on the plate tonight, including talk of an all-in-one Google Messenger app, a rumored launch schedule for the Galaxy S4, how often the community upgrades phones, and whether or not I’m still using the Pebble. But that’s not all, we want to share our favorite apps and games of the moment, discuss Samsung’s Super Bowl ad, Android app designs, and try to figure out why Chromebooks get no love.

We’re back! Apologies again for the cancellation of the show last week, but some times there are circumstances that you just can’t control. Tonight, we’re hoping to have better luck with Google+ live Hangouts, so we can get back on track. And since we missed last week’s episode, we have a big show in store for you.

We still plan to talk a bit about the X Phone from Motorola, HTC’s new flagship that should be announced on February 19, Nexus phones on carriers, if you care about Blackberry 10, our favorite apps, how Google can improve Google Now, and so much more.

Update:  Well, Google+ Hangout live broadcasts are apparently down during the exact time that we wanted to broadcast the show. Our schedule for the night was tight, hence the need to run the show early. So since we spent 30 minutes now trying to get it setup and live through multiple accounts with no luck, we had to cancel for the night.

We may try to do the show tomorrow during the day, early, but it’s up in the air at this point. Just check back in the morning.

After a long and at times slow holiday news period followed by a long and incredibly slow (on a news front) CES, we’re finally back to regular programming. We’ll have the whole team tonight to talk about our final thoughts on CES, so that we can move on to 2013 and the exciting times ahread.

With this year’s CES turning out to be one of the slowest in recent memory, we can at least laugh at the lack of news, take you through our lives on the show floor, and fill you in on our random encounters with people like Dennis Rodman. The show may be slow, but Tim and I are still having a great time.
