As soon as we wrote up that a Nexus 4 toolkit was released, the emails started coming in that the same developer also released a Nexus 10 toolkit. Go figure. For anyone who doesn’t know, these toolkits will help either beginners who are learning about their tablets or the seasoned pros who simply don’t want to do any heavy lifting. They will help with unlocking your bootloader, rooting the device, installing a custom recovery, and a whole lot more with hardly any effort on your part.
You will need a PC, but once you download and install the drivers and software, you’re pretty much good to go. If you’re ready to get your hands dirty, head on over to the XDA thread and check it out.

I hear that. Knowing your way around adb/fastboot is always a good thing, but once that’s settled, sometimes it’s just easier and faster to use the utilities provided by the community to make things easier for everyone.
for you, yes. unfortunately, there isn’t an aptitude test to download and execute a toolkit.
