Adobe Flash Player 11 is Live in the Android Market (Updated: AIR Too)

• I can’t use any apps on my phone because storage space is low.  Why is this update so huge and why does the market list it as only 6MB, when it’s really 17MB?

• ok so i feel like an idiot cuz i been slacking on my smartphone game lately cuz of my job. but i just downloaded adobe air yesterday. what exactly does it do? i’ve heard it ranges from it making videos play in their natural form to app development. not sure at all what it does. please help? dont be too critical on my ignorance.

  • it allows you to code an android app in actionscript.

• i didnt try it yet but I gurantee you it works better then the Iphones flash player

• Updated this morning and loaded up some embedded videos on some websites.

• Can we stop blocking my Nook Color from downloading random apps from the Market? Seriously, I’m positive this will work on it. So does Netflix. It’s running 2.3.3. Your DRM is safe. Facebook should work too. Especially since you let me download the Facebook Messenger app on it… *facepalms*

  Well if you click on it it asks you to choose your browser & I clicked on It & it opens to a webpage but says …adobe flash player is not detected…..

  Wonder if ADOBE has something up there sleeves folks ???

  • Uhhhh… it loads a settings page for me…

    • same here, loads settings to issue. maybe reinstall and try again.

• This is significantly faster at loading web pages. Just today I was bitching under my breath at how long it took to load pages. About 10-12 seconds. Now the same pages are loading in 3. (on DX) I normally do not care enough about Flash updates but this one is really good.

  • i noticed the same thing on my thunderbolt. i thought i was dreaming it was zipping quickly.
