Google is rolling out a major Chrome OS update for the month of August, complete with new features and improved controls for notifications and media playback.

For media controls, you can now open your system menu and see all of the tabs or apps on your Chromebook that are playing audio tracks and control them from one place. This is incredibly helpful for those of you who continuously have thousands of browser tabs open. Hint hint, Kellex.

Google is also including an updated camera app for the Pixelbook and select Chromebook machines. The new camera app features new modes, including a Portrait mode, as well as new crop options and an updated interface.

Lastly, a “Clear all” button has arrived for notifications. “In response to your feedback, it’s now easier for you to check and clear notifications from Play Store apps on your Chromebook,” Google writes. Yay!

Be on the lookout for these changes to automatically take place on your Chrome OS machine.
