T-Mobile announced its brand new set of plans today and they are called the T-Mix plans. These new plans are pretty standard in terms of being an “unlimited” plan, but the new side of things comes via member perks. Yes, T-Mobile is doing perks now.
T-Mobile T-Mix gives you a certain number of “Picks” that can be used towards perks. Depending on the level of plan you sign up for or the number of lines you have, you get more Picks that can be used towards more or higher tier perks.
T-Mobile T-Mix Plans: Price, Features, Picks, Plans
To start off, we have T-Mix Standard, More, and Loaded plans, with single line prices starting at $55, $75, and $95 for each. Standard will be the lowest tier plan with the least amount of data and Picks, while Loaded has everything, including 250GB of hotspot and up to 11 Picks.
- T-Mix Standard: $55/month (1 line with AutoPay) — includes 1 Pick
- T-Mix More: $75/month (1 line with AutoPay) — includes 2 Picks
- T-Mix Loaded: $95/month (1 line with AutoPay) — includes 3 Picks
Before we get into the Picks and perks, below is a table that shows the breakdown of each plan. In the end, the features of the plan you choose are still the most important thing, because data and connectivity are sort of the point of paying a wireless company like T-Mobile each month.
The plans aren’t that difficult to understand. The Standard plan has a 50GB premium data cap, while the other two offer “unlimited.” You then get anywhere from 480p streaming up to 4K, hotspots that start at 3G speeds and top out at 250GB, various international usage options, and discounted smartwatch or tablet plans.

Alright, plans out of the way, the next piece of this is the Picks and perks idea. This is where T-Mobile is pitching T-Mix as a win, because the Picks allow you to customize your plan in a way. For example, you may want Apple TV included, as well as ESPN Unlimited or Netflix Premium. Or maybe you order a lot of takeout and would rather have a paid DashPass subscription instead of a Google AI Plus subscription.
Below, there is a breakdown of the types of Picks and perks that are available and how many Picks each would cost you. You can see that T-Satellite has become a Pick, as have device promotions.
If you were to sign-up for a T-Mix plan, you’ll have to strategically plan out which Picks to make for your account in order to potentially save money on some of the services you use most, but also to get device promotions.
| Partner Picks (Shared options across plans) | • 1 Pick: Apple TV (1 Pick through June 2027*), DashPass by DoorDash, 500 miles/month through Delta SkyMiles®, Google AI Plus, Hulu (with Ads), Netflix Standard with ads, Pandora Plus, Paramount+ Essential, SiriusXM All Access (App Only), YouTube Premium Lite • 2 Picks: Apple Music Individual, Google AI Pro, Pandora Premium, XBOX Game Pass Premium, YouTube Premium • 3 Picks: Netflix Standard, XBOX Game Pass Ultimate • 4 Picks: ESPN Unlimited plan, Netflix Premium |
| T-Mobile Picks | • 1 Pick: T-Satellite, Optimized Video Calling (included with T-Mix Loaded) • 1–3 Picks per line: Device Promotions |
| T-Mobile Perks | T-Mobile members get exclusive perks and experiences with top hotel and rental car brands, Delta premium in-flight drinks On Us, MLB TV On Us, discounts & freebies every week through T-Mobile Tuesdays & more. |
There is a bit of a twist here too. T-Mobile is doing “Remix” windows every 3 months that allow you to change your Picks and perks. There is an annual Remix as well, so you can make changes to your Picks 4 times per year.
Why would you do that? Maybe you need ESPN for the College Football season, but then Apple TV when your favorite show returns with a new season. Or you might need to upgrade at some point in a year, so you could shift a Pick to an upgrade and off of DashPass for 3 months.
Does that make sense? To be honest, we’re still processing a lot of this because it all seems more complex than it probably needs to be. Your wireless plan shouldn’t require that you strategize every few months in order to get the most value out of it. T-Mobile thinks you should, but I’m not sure most people want to spend that much time on these things.
We’ll have more shortly.
The new T-Mobile T-Mix plans launch in November. We will make sure you know once they go live.
