In Samsung’s home market of South Korea, the company is seeing sales boosts of over 20% for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, likely all thanks to Apple’s launch of the iPhone Duo. It’s reported this bump took place the week of Oct. 23-29, with the sales figures being compared to the week prior.
For Android users, foldables aren’t a new concept. Samsung is currently selling the 8th generation of Galaxy Z devices. For Apple customers, this is new territory, which is probably very exciting. With all of the hype, it’s no surprise that folks who don’t buy Apple products would want to check out the closest thing they can get to the iPhone Duo, which would be the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Current Deals: If you think you might be someone who is ready to jump on the foldable train, now is a solid time. Samsung is currently offering free doubled storage for the 512GB model (meaning you get 1TB for the price of 512GB), plus offering up to $800 off on a trade-in device. That could bring your new Galaxy Z Fold 8 with 1TB of storage down to just $1299. A stellar deal indeed.
Has anyone here played with an iPhone Duo? Is it sweet?
