After posting our Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ written review earlier in the week, our video version is now ready for those who can’t read like visuals. It’s the overview of sorts, where we dive into some good, some bad, and share the (well, my) general takeway after spending a couple of weeks with both phones.

My thoughts on the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are similar to Tim’s. I enjoyed the camera, think the phones are ridiculously pretty, was impressed by performance, can easily admit that no one else puts together a full package quite like Samsung, and am quite shocked at the pricing (for the unlocked models). The differences between us are really just in the battery department, where I ran into nothing but shaky battery life on both phones. I also point out in the video that I just can’t take much more of this fragile, scratch-magnet glass covering that companies keep using and that software is key these days to making a phone decision, because everyone makes good hardware and has good enough cameras.

For the dirty details, you really should read the full written review. But if you just want the general 🔥 or to see if the Galaxy S9 will replace the Pixel 2 XL in my pocket (it is my iPhone), this video version is ready.

Enjoy!
