  Why are they renaming things that don’t need renaming? The hotseat? Play Store?

• Why did they show a sports score notification in the video. That’s such a tease since the majority of Droid Life readers can’t get sports scores to show up in Google Now! There’s got to be a secret trick to this besides searching for your favorite team everyday and still not having it come up!!!!

• I’m agreeing with Chad, they do seem to be major promoters for the Nexus 7 on this site recently. We have a Samsung Tab 2 7.0 and a Xoom WiFi, the Tab is nice but the 7 inch doesn’t stand up to the 10 inch for usability.

  • i think it’s really a matter of personal taste. the size of my Nexus 7 makes me much more likely to have it on me, and therefore makes it much more useful than my 10″ tab. in fact, i’m selling my 10″ because it gets no use anymore!

    • I second that, but gave to the gf instead of selling it.

  • they review, and promote all devices on this site, and give you the updates and what’s in them for every device. If it was just nexus site, they wouldn’t of posted or keep posting about the rezound ics update, or the recent update to the bionic.
    Its all about android here, all of android. And the SG3 and N 7 are brand new products, so they try to inform people as much as possible to all new products.

  • It works. You have to be in Google Now. Just like on the Nexus 7.

  • IMO when this site originated, the droid branding was associated with the OG which was a unlocked device much like nexus devices now. the droid name has greatly changed to locked down bloated devices. In my opinion what the DROID name started out at is what the nexus name now represents.

  • Well technically the OG Droid was a nexus device.

• At 21 seconds and 22 seconds, that guy clenches his jaw. He also make strange movements with the lower half of his face/jaw during the entire video. Cannot unsee.

  • I wonder why some actors do that? I’ve seen it a lot on TV. I wonder if they think people can’t see them do it?

    • I’ve read about this. It’s not so much that they are clenching their jaw, they are pushing their tongue to the roof of their mouth. It hides their “double chin’ or that piece of flabby skin right above the throat. Maybe this guy is self conscious about it. That’s my guess.

      • Strange..the show I’ve seen it the most is Star Trek Voyager. Tuvok and Seven of Nine did it all the time and they were svelte.

• Anybody with a Xoom notice that saying “google” with google now open doesn’t do anything?

  • It’s an option in settings, maybe it got turned off?

  • Maybe you’re saying it with 3 o’s in stead of 2?
