The August Pixel update rolled out today to bring the latest in security patches to your Google Pixel phone. The update is minor and the last before we get September’s big QPR update that will release alongside the next Pixel Feature Drop.
This new update is currently only available to the Pixel 8 up through the Pixel 10 series and Pixel 10a.
Where are the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, and Pixel 7a updates? Google did not say. We’ve been tracking updates for these phones for some time and have seen their consistency dwindle, with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro expected to be cut off in the coming months.
This update has two build numbers for it, one for most global devices and another specific to Pixel phones running on Rogers. There are also a couple of bug fixes that can be found below.
