We have officially reached the final day of Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra pre-orders. After announcing each device at its Unpacked event two weeks ago, Samsung is ready to fully ship their new foldables to you.
If you have not yet pre-ordered, these launch deals could disappear after today. Samsung hasn’t yet said what they’ll do for promos starting tomorrow, but they typically reduce trade-in values and the bigger carrier deals could drop from their currently high prices.
As of this moment, you can still get a Galaxy Z Fold 8 with an instant $1,200 discount via trade-in or a $1,900 discount through AT&T or T-Mobile. That would make for a “free” Galaxy Z Fold 8, if you go the carrier route.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 final pre-order deals: $1,200 off or $1,900 off
The two deals that you can take advantage of are pretty straight-forward and nothing necessarily new to this space.
- $1,200 OFF TRADE-IN DEAL: This requires you to trade in a device worth $1,200, which will give you an instant $1,200 off the price today, bringing the starting price of the Fold 8 down to $699 or the Fold 8 Ultra to $899. Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S26 Ultra would get you the full $1,200 off, but a Galaxy Z Fold 6 would get you $1,100. You can check your trade-in value at Samsung’s site.
- $1,900 OFF CARRIER DEAL: To get $1,900 off, both AT&T and T-Mobile are running promos that require a trade-in, selection of a specific plan, and bill credits that amount to that full $1,900 price. AT&T’s bill credits run for 36 months, while T-Mobile is still doing 24 months. The fineprint is key here and tells you which phones are eligible for that full $1,900 and the plans that are required. That’s where we stand on this final pre-order day. Again, Samsung is likely to change these promos tomorrow and could take away the higher trade-in values that they are offering for most phones. Today is the day to act if you have a phone to trade-in, as it’ll get you the biggest discount before Samsung drops values.
