Our Take: After thoroughly testing for several weeks (months at this point), I can say that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are stellar flagships highlighted by standout hardware, class-leading Android software, great battery life, and the best smartphone cameras available right now. However, because the generational jump from the Pixel 10 Pro is relatively minor, these devices make sense primarily as upgrades from older generations like the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 8 Pro, or earlier—especially considering their higher entry price and the slightly frustrating 12GB RAM allotment on base models.
Google certainly gave us familiarity with the Pixel 11 Pro, but they also tightened up the hardware over the Pixel 10 Pro. Up front, you get a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED panel with smooth 1–120Hz refresh rates and a massive 3,600 nits peak brightness, all of which is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Inside sits Google’s new Tensor G6 chip paired with the Titan M3 security core. Unfortunately, there is a memory situation to be aware of. The base 256GB storage tier comes saddled with just 12GB of RAM, while opting for 512GB or 1TB bumps you up to a much more appropriate 16GB RAM alongside faster Zoned UFS performance.
On the backside, the signature camera setup remains easily the star of the show. You get a triple array featuring a 50MP main (ƒ/1.68) sensor next to a 48MP ultrawide with macro focus (ƒ/1.7, 123° FOV) and a 48MP periscope telephoto delivering 5x optical zoom and up to 120x Pro Zoom. For selfies, Google equipped the front with a 42MP ultrawide shooter with autofocus. Video caps out at 8K at 30fps with Video Boost, and you still get 4K at 60fps across the board.
In the battery department, there is a 4,850mAh battery that could stretch up to 30+ hours of normal use. Wired charging speeds can hit 30W (good for about 55% in 30 minutes), while wireless charging is upgraded to Qi2.2 and 25W speeds. Google also brought back Pixelsnap, which is their version of built-in magnets like Apple’s MagSafe.
Finally, for hardware, you’ll find IP68 dust and water resistance, a matte glass back, aluminum frame, plus full connectivity including WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Ultra-Wideband.
