Facebook’s Messenger Rooms Now Available on Desktop, Mobile

Announced by Facebook in late April, Messenger Rooms is now available for desktop and mobile users.

With Messenger Rooms, you can host up to 50 people in the same room with no time limit, plus users don’t even need a Facebook account to join a room. From your News Feed, you can start a room, then invite anyone you like, or leave it open for anyone to join. You can choose the room activity, as well as the starting time.

This will be great alternative for families and friends over Zoom, since Facebook isn’t asking for payment or implementing any type of time limit for Rooms. That’s pretty big.
