HTC announced that new U product that was teased a week ago, the HTC U12 Life. Like last year’s U11 Life, this is a mid-range device from HTC, but the specs are solid, it looks nice, and the price is right. Unfortunately, this fresh glass won’t come to the US.

Should that change, here’s what you need to know. In the specs department, the HTC U12 Life features a Snapdragon 636 processor, 6-inch FHD+ display (2160×1080), 4GB or 6GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB storage, rear dual camera (12MP + 5MP), front 13MP camera, 3600mAh battery, USB-C port, and Android 8.1 with HTC Sense.

As you can see from the pictures, it’s coated with HTC’s Liquid Surface design and all sorts of glass. But it’s unique a bit, thanks to a two tone look with some striping. It certainly has a Pixel vibe to it.

HTC tells us that the U12 Life will start at a price of around £299 in the UK, which seems pretty reasonable for a display that size, upwards of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
