If you have been rocking the official Mailbox app for Android, and also use a Mac computer, then you will be happy to learn that a public beta is now available for you to use on your desktop or laptop.

While it is your basic email client, just as you would see on iOS and Android, a couple new features are included which work not only on the desktop, but on your smartphone as well.

For example, if you receive an email on your phone, you can snooze the notification until you open Mailbox on your desktop, and vice versa. In addition, this same principle has been added to drafts, but only on desktops. If you begin a draft on your Mac, it will be stored locally until you have time to come back to it. Mailbox states they are working hard to bring cross platform draft support, but it is not available quite yet.

To download the beta for your Mac, you will need a Betacoin. A coin can be requested via Mailbox’s site, which can be found by following the link below. Betacoins will be sent out over the coming weeks.
