Verizon Prepares New Chart of Tiered Data as July 7 Looms

We may earn a commission when you click links to retailers and purchase goods. More info.

At this point, you probably know everything there is to know about Verizon’s new tiered data plans, but just in case you were holding out hope that they would have a last minute change of heart and ax the program, we have site confirmation that they are all ready for launch.  Yep, visual confirmation that Big Red is just moments (2 days) away from flipping the switch on tiers of 2GB for $30, 5GB for $50, and 10GB for $80.

The good news is that all of the current unlimited data plan members in the building get to keep that unlimited data for the foreseeable future and these tiers mean nothing.  New customers and lines though, not so much.  If you don’t lock yourself into an unlimited smartphone package by the end of July 6, you’ll be subject to tiering (that a word?).

Cheers @0mie and @rusty_richards!
