Almost a year ago to the day, PlayStation Vue announced that they were raising prices on all of their streaming TV options due to rising costs in the industry. As you probably guessed, they are doing it again.
Starting today, all new PlayStation Vue plans will see a $5 increase, just like they did last year. That means a starting price point of $49.99 if you want to sign-up for one of the longer-standing streaming TV services. At that price, it now matches the recent price hike of YouTube TV.
Here is the new PlayStation Vue pricing setup:
- Access: $49.99
- Core: $54.99
- Elite: $64.99
- Ultra: $84.99
What about current customers? A price increase is coming your way too. Existing customers will see the $5 price hike on your first billing cycle on or after July 31. Depending on when your plan renews, you do have a good month or so, but will then pay the prices above.
Streaming TV, you were once a great value.
