For those of you who jumped on those Pixel 11 pre-order deals, there’s a good chance that your devices have shipped, right on time.
With it being August 18 and launch date less than 48 hours away, we were starting to wonder if Google would still meet its August 20 arrival time. A good chunk of pre-orderees have received shipping information as of this morning, many of which show August 20 as the date their new phones will arrive.
That said, my personal pre-order is still in the “Preparing shipment” phase with an estimate of August 20 – August 21. I’m not alone in seeing that.
Google uses both UPS and FedEx, depending on area and your shipping choice. Honestly, I hope you all took the free shipping, as Google has been pretty good at hitting its launch date in recent years with the free option.
Also, this is always a great time to remind you that shipping estimates typically aren’t that reliable until the shipping partner has your device. A label being printed does not necessarily mean that your package has shipped – UPS or FedEx actually need to have physical custody of the package.
