We haven’t done a Q&A Session since the week before Google I/O, which means you might have a lot of questions that have been building up inside of your noodle. Since the last time we did one of these, we’ve learned about Andy Rubin’s Essential and the Essential Phone, launched a fancy new Droid Life (hooray!), and are now beginning to learn what might be in store for the 2nd-Generation Pixel devices and the Galaxy Note 8. Needless to say, there’s a lot going on, so let’s have some fun.
The Q&A Sessions are your chance to ask us anything that might be on your mind. If you wanna talk about Android, Game of Thrones, sports, iOS or anything else, shoot your question below in the comments section. On Friday, we’ll round up the questions, then answer them in a following post.
Have at it!

Any interest in expanding the scope of this site? I’d love to read your takes on Chromebooks, and technology in general.
What’s your favorite brewery right now?
With so many phones opting for no headphone jack (pixel 2 rumored to remove it), when will start seeing more options for type c headphones? I just looked on Amazon and most of what I found were just adapters.
In your opinion, will battery life get incredibly better in the next 5 years? Or will it just be the same tech we have now with bigger batteries that can charge quicker?
What is the best smartphone camera to take pictures of kids. Pixel? S8? probably pixel 2? I have the Nexus 6P, it’s too slow and most pictures are blurry.
Is there any Android Wear 2.0 out now that you think is the best right now? Also why no XZ premium review it’s top 5.
Do you guys see each other outside of work or do you just video chat and only see each other at events you both are traveling to?
Do you ever do another review on a phone once it gets an update? Example: Motorola phones are now getting Nougat (from Marshmallow). I know they won’t compare to most new phones with pre-installed Nougat, but they should still get some love after the updates.
I recently purchased a Moto G(5) Plus and love it. I was always a top of the line/flagship guy. Are we/you getting to the point where the top tier phones are so close to this mid tier phones in quality/speed/battery that (to quote the movie Meatballs) It Just Doesn’t Matter?
bargain priced android device for games and such – tablet or chromebook?
imo, tablet for short term, chromebook for long term.
Marvel vs DC films: Who is your favorite character from both? Who do you think would win in a fight between your favorite characters? Would you rather have tech from Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne?
How long do you keep your daily driver/main phone for? 3 years has seemed to be the shelf life of a good phone in my experience.
Who’ll win the West, Blazers or Lakers? Lol.
Well at least about a topic that never gets asked.

Point taken.
If you were on a Nexus 6p that is working perfectly fine except for a weaker battery life, and you passed on getting the Pixel due to it’s involvement with Verizon and difficulty buying on the T-mobile network at launch, would you A) wait for the next gen Pixel or B) bite the bullet and grab an S8+ through T-Mobile and deal with TouchWhiz?
You’ve already come this far, I’d wait for Pixel 2!
