We have two new Happy Plugs models to discuss this morning, both labeled under the Air 1 Plus moniker. The first is a set of earbuds (picture above to the right), while the other is a set of in-ear buds (pictured to the left). Honestly, I’ve never thought of the difference between the two, but yeah, there are differences in terms of how they fit inside your ear.

Both models sport the same set of features, with exception to one thing, that being passive noise cancellation — that’s only for the in-ear model. Both Air 1 Plus models cost $99 and feature 6 hours of battery life (40 hours with the case), Qualcomm’s aptX audio, USB-C charging, as well as Qualcomm’s CVC noise cancellation (noise reduction algorithms).

There are also a few colors to choose from, in typical Happy Plugs fashion. There’s Gold, Pink Gold, White Marble, White, and Black.

For those debating between the two, it’ll come down to how you prefer your buds to sit in your ear. Do you want some cushion? Then go for the in-ear model.

If either of these little buds interest you, they are up for pre-order now, with shipping set to begin on May 22. If you want/need some feedback on them, I should have both models in-hand soon and I can report my findings.
