Select Galaxy device owners have maybe been enjoying the PlayGalaxy Link gaming service for a month or so now, which is still currently in beta form, but Samsung announced this week that additional devices will soon receive support for the service.

According to Samsung, next month owners of the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note9, and Galaxy A90 will be able to download and play PC games via PlayGalaxy Link.

If you’re unfamiliar, which is definitely me because I don’t play any PC games, PlayGalaxy Link allows you to link your PC to your smartphone in order to play video games. Like NVIDIA’s GameStream, but purely for mobile, you can access your PC’s gaming titles while on a solid mobile connection or over WiFi if you want to take your games to the couch. The important note is, your PC handles most of the heavy lifting, so your phone only needs to be able to stream the content.

The PlayGalaxy Link beta is available in South Korea, US, UK, Canada, Italy, Netherlands, France, Singapore, and Russia. It’s currently open to the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series of devices, but again, it’s coming to additional devices soon.

If you own the necessary hardware, give it a look.
