OnePlus followed through this morning with its plans to announce that it would soon host an announcement event for the OnePlus 7. On May 14, we’ll get our first look at the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro at events in New York, London, Bengaluru, and Beijing.
The OnePlus 7 event will start at 11AM Eastern (8AM Pacific) and will be livestreamed for the world to watch. If you’d rather see the happenings in person, you can grab a ticket on April 25 at this link. In the past, tickets were not free, but OnePlus always hands out a swag bag that makes up for the cost and then some.
To recap, some of the official info we learned about the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are that they’ll be OnePlus’ most expensive phones yet, with the OnePlus 7 Pro inching up towards Galaxy S10 and iPhone Xs territory. The display tech in the 7 Pro should be OnePlus’ best yet too, with CEO Pete Lau calling it a “breakthrough.”
In the teaser trailer below, you can catch a couple of shots of the OnePlus 7, including a look at the alert slider and curvy body. It’s all very OnePlus-y.
