Something weird, but exciting is happening. Pushbullet development, which seemed pretty dead the last year or so, is making big moves in 2019. Earlier this year, Pushbullet introduced a massive redesign, and now this week, the app is announcing bundled notifications and direct reply to notifications. It’s like an entirely new Pushbullet experience from the ground up and we’re loving it.

This notification revamp makes a lot of sense. According to Pushbullet, the app in total sends out a huge amount of notifications to many users, and because of this, they wanted to make the notification experience better. With this change, there is added support for bundled notifications, as well as notifications for pushes from Pushbullet Channels, which was a highly requested feature.

Directly Reply, available in many other apps, allows you to respond to notifications without ever having to leave the notification bar. And lastly, Pushbullet has added system toggle options for Notification Mirroring and SMS sync. Now you can enable and disable these features quickly.

These changes are all available inside of the Pushbullet beta, downloadable here.
