If you have a OnePlus phone dating back to the OnePlus 3, your phone will eventually be running deep integration with Google’s Duo video calling service. We actually wrote about this previously when the change was made for the OnePlus 6 and 6T in a recent OxygenOS update, but now the company has announced that the same will come for most of its previous phones, too.
Detailed by OnePlus, “We’re now introducing Google Duo as a native function for video calls on our devices and are providing enhanced video calling quality for all OnePlus users.”
Following the change, OnePlus owners will see Duo integrated into multiple native functions, such as call logs, Contacts, the dial pad, and messaging.
If you’re a OnePlus user and Duo lover, this is nice to see.
