Sprint and T-Mobile Also Announce the Galaxy SIII, Available in Stores June 21

Both T-Mobile and Sprint jumped into the Samsung Galaxy SIII action this morning shortly behind Verizon, however, they both announced actual launch dates rather than just a pre-order. Both carriers will carry the GS3 on June 21 in white and blue and in 16GB and 32GB versions. T-Mo did not including pricing in their announcement, but Sprint is following Big Red’s lead with the $199 for 16GB and $249 for 32GB scheme.

AT&T, you are up.

I don’t think Droid Life has posted enough information about the Galaxy SIII, would you please post ten more articles today. Also, while you’re at it, would post about thirty new Galaxy Nexus articles, thanks.

This is a news site. He’s posting news that is relevant to this sites theme and its readers interests. If you don’t want to see news about phones, then you are on the wrong web site. Stay in school.

  • Will this be the same dual core phone that Verizon is getting? Or will this have the quad core in it?

    • e_droid

I don’t think any US version will see a quad-core. The Snapdragon processor with (2GBs?) of RAM will be enough.

      • T4rd

Indeed. Though I would prefer the Exynos since it has a significantly faster GPU, the S4 is definitely comparable on the CPU side and the extra RAM is a nice trade-off, IMO.

I’m probably not even getting this phone, but I’m still stoked for how widely and quickly it’s being adopted by US carriers. One step closer to putting carriers in their place and being a little more Apple-like at one of the few things they’re good at that I appreciate.

These prices will KILL the iPhone more than anything else.

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Can we forget about Killing the iPhone now? . . . We all know the pricing for the iPhone is always exactly the same… and start at $199 . . .

    • Neomastermind

Wait until October when the next iPhone obliterates everything Android and sets new sales records. It’s not about killing iPhone anymore, but becoming the number 1 Android OEM.

    • Butters619

I love Android phones, but no they won’t. People don’t buy iPhones (or any Apple product) because of price. I didn’t spend $2k on a MB Pro because I was concerned about price.

      • ChipJones

” I didn’t spend $2k on a MB Pro because I was concerned about price.”

Correct, you spent it because you are mentally challenged.

        • Butters619

Show me a laptop with the same combination of power, quality, battery life, and size.

Yes you can get a PC laptop with the same power, but it’s going to be massive, plastic, and not have a great battery life. I’ve done that before and I don’t plan on doing that again. And if you do find a PC laptop with similar size and power, then it’s probably an HP Envy which is just a MB pro copy cat with a nearly MB pro price, but without decent customer support.

          Stop being so ignorant.

Looks like all of them are coming with the S4.
