LG’s LU6200 (Revolution 2?) Poses For Another Photo Shoot

Last week, pictures of the LG LU6200 spread like wild fire across the internet. The device was sporting a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, dual cameras and LTE all on a beautiful 4.5-inch 720p IPS LCD HD screen. Immediately, the specs reminded us of the LG Revolution 2, a device that our sources have played with. This morning, again, the blogosphere was exploding with the news that more photos were available. Personally, the device looks and sounds stunning, except for that damn home button.  The phone is expected to hit Korea in early October, as we wait patiently for LG to announce U.S. availability. Another picture can be found after the break.

last LG phone looked pretty compelling, and then they put Bing on it. I remember looking at it and being intrigued, and then I was terrified by the Bing.

The home button also looks like a physical clickable button. Also, Sam Freistedt, noticed the chrome trimming, which was a major “problem” with samsungs galaxy devices, and even the motorola droid bionic.

I think apple is going to be suing lg soon, maybe all the android phone makers have decided to band together, as they say my enemy’s enemy is my friend. What I mean by this is that their phone are looking more and more similar in the design aspect. Almost all of the home launchers are looking like the touchwiz which was apple’s primary complaint against Sammy boy. My bet is that apple will have their ass hadn’t to them soon enough.

  • Carmen Diva

I actually like the home button.
I love the fact certain android devices have slight differences in them
to make it seem less like a clone or a rehash(HTC, i’m talking about you)

oh great, they put that same horrible physical home button setup that samsung uses on the international GSII phones. meh, its not like i plan to buy this phone anyway. is lg trying to copy touchwiz? why, just why.

Only way this has a chance is if it launches before the Vigor.

    • Anonymous

Agree. Not to mention it will probably be considerably larger than the vigor.

    • Anonymous

i doubt it, im expecting the vigor to launch around mid to late october. this phone will probs come out later.

I agree with you kellex, the home button is ugly as hell.

  • Anonymous

Could this be the setup that’s confusing people with the ICS “one home button only” setup? I did a double take at first…

I love how Verizon released unfinished first versions of all these phones and tricked people into buying them, only to release the more finished models a couple months later.

    • Anonymous

Lol, did you let Verizon fool you too?

  • iphonesmiphone

    that home screen screams iphone

Heard this is headed to MetroPCS… Let’s not forget Verizon isn’t the only one with LTE, yes I know Verizon is the fastest LTE so far.

this probably will after it comes to verizon. Look at the esteem, it is a revolution just on metro pcs

I’m guessing Apple already has a lawsuit prepared for this one.

    • Sam Freistedt

My first thoughts after seeing that chrome border. Haha.

You took the words out of mouth lol

    • Robert James

      haha… my thoughts exactly.

I think Samsung’s probably gonna be right behind them. That looks as much a galaxy S2 as it does an iphone.
