Motorola XOOM 3G Update HTJ85 Info Posted, Could Start Rolling Out Tomorrow

Most of us have a pretty grasp on what is included in the Android 3.2 update for the Motorola XOOM 3G since the WiFi version and the Asus Transformer have already received it.  But the official details have now been posted for you to peruse.  SD card support, zooming compatibility mode, and a bunch of fixes to improve movie watching are all included in this latest 15.4MB software bundle.

Our sources are under the impression that the update should start rolling out tomorrow, so Verizon XOOM owners will want to check in Settings>About tablet>System updates quite regularly over the next few days.

  • My husband and i ended up being now delighted that Ervin managed to deal with his inquiry through your precious recommendations he discovered from your very own web site. It’s not at all simplistic to simply continually be releasing points that many others have been trying to sell. And we do understand we have the website owner to be grateful to for this. Most of the explanations you have made, the easy web site navigation, the friendships your site help to create – it is most exceptional, and it’s leading our son and the family believe that that subject is exciting, which is certainly highly fundamental. Thanks for the whole lot!

I just paid $22.87 for an iPad 2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $657 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, http://to.ly/aRG4

  • What is up with the SD card support, you can write to it via a PC connection WTF!!

I’m just saying I have a Xoom 3G and it is an awesome device. Why are you so hostile?

        • Anonymous

          You’re not fooling anyone.

      • Granted

I love the first Troll movie with Phil Fondicaro. I worked with him on a movie, totally nice guy. The second Troll movie was complete shit, the actors wore Halloween masks, instead of good prosthetics. Dumb dumb dumb dumb.

Anyone know if I cancelled my data plan so my XOOM isnt currently activated, if I’ll be able to receive the update?

Its not coming from Verizon right? Coming from Google’s servers?

    • Anonymous

Why would you cancel your data plan on the first* 4G LTE tablet in the world?

      • Anonymous

What? First 4G LTE tablet? Apparently you missed the far superior Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Unless you consider promising 4G and then delivering months later than promised. My guess is your vision is clouded by the fuzzy Xoom screen. You know the one I mean. The lowest rated of all Honeycomb tablet screens. I am sorry that you paid 800.00 for this piece of junk and now find the resale value has plummeted. Even the single core, non-Honeycomb HTC Flyer kicks the Xooms ass, so the real question is
why wouldn’t GBENJ cancel his data plan?

    • Yes – you will continue to receive updates.

  • It’s about time. Thought this was a Google Experience device…

I think this IS the Google Experience.
