  • Based on the recommendation of this very site (thank you!), I’ve been using icon packs for a while now. I’m currently on Nova with Dekk icons and Minima wallpaper. However, there’s one thing that has me completely stumped…

Many icon packs have variants for the most popular apps (Gmail, Maps, Facebook, etc.). If you change one or more of your icons to these variants, the next time you apply an icon pack, the ones you changed continue to use the old pack until you go back and change them manually. I’m stuck in a vicious cycle where 6 or 7 of my icons don’t change when I apply a new icon pack and I always have to update them manually. Is there any way to “reset to default” so icon pack changes apply to all apps across-the-board again? I’ve searched in the OS and Nova settings and numerous forums and can’t seem to find the answer. Thank you so much for your time!

    • Will Google try to get Android Auto in budget friendly and cheaper automotive”s, not just luxury vehicles? Google’s Goal seems to be that everyone use their product no matter what income. Most of these technologies are pushed for luxury models of automobiles

Question for Tim- when are you gonna grace your shoe game to the masses? You have daily readers on this site that love shoes just as much as Android

    “Jesus,Girls, and Marcus Mariota”

    • Kellen and I were both rooting for the Ducks, but it was a tough loss. Oh well. As for the shoe game, Kellen is also quite hip on the sneakers, and he’s the one that got me so into it. Maybe one day we can do a walkthrough of the DL kicks 😛

  • My 2013 wifi Nexus 7, bought on launch day, has OTA updated to Lollipop. We snagged a new 2013 Nexus 7 from the groupon deal, and it updated to 4.4.4, but not to Lollipop. If I wait long enough, will I eventually get an OTA update from google for Lollipop? Would rather not hassle with adb, sideloading, etc.

    • Pats. GB lost that game more than Seattle won it. Pats dominated for 4 quarters against the Colts.

  • Since you’ll be more likely to get a response than if I just pester Moto people on G+, will the Moto X Pro be customizable with MotoMaker? Still holding out on a Nexus 6 to see if I’ll be able to get a sweet leather back for it.

  • Will we every see another device like the Nexus 6 that has compatibility across all US carriers? And by that I mean did Google pull some strings for a one-off device or are the OEM’s just lazy.

  • How long did it take the ‘Droid Life’ website to generate enough income to pay the bills and or quit your day job?

  • For a flagship to win you over this year, what does that OEM need to do better over the previous model flagship and what is something they need to adopt from others? Feel free to give an answer per device
