Samsung has once again discounted their fabulous new smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, by $50, dropping it to Black Friday-level pricing. With starting points of $229 and $249, this is once again the smartwatch we will tell you to go buy.

A little over a week ago, I shared a confession with you all, that I had taken a secret break from Wear OS and was enjoying a Galaxy Watch Active 2. During that shameful and secret testing period, I mostly fell in love with Samsung’s newest smartwatch and likely won’t take it off the wrist any time soon.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 provides a true 2-day battery life, even with a lot thrown at it. It has the best watch display I’ve seen, solid performance that might blow the minds of Wear OS users, a slick design that comes in both 40mm and 44mm sizes, quick-swap bands, and a fit and finish that will leave you feeling like you are wearing a watch that costs far more than $230.

Look, I like the Fossil Gen 5, especially at this crazy price, but the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is offering a better overall experience at this time.
