Recently added into the Google Home app, owners of original Google Home and Google Home Mini units can now pair their speakers to create a set of stereo speakers, an ability that was previously not there. As you may recall, this feature was available to other smart speakers, but not to the two original Home speakers.

Anyway, to get it set up, simply into the Google Home app, find the speaker you want to make a pair, tap on Speaker pair, then continue through the setup process or pairing another speaker. Users will pick left/right channels, name the pair, assign rooms, and all that jazz.

Once your pair is created, you’ll see that paired grouping inside of Google Cast-able apps, such as Spotify, Play Music, and others.

Enjoy your tunes in stereo.
