Live Caption Coming to Pixel 3, Pixel 3a Devices Later This Year

Google confirmed via a blog post this week that the Pixel 4’s Live Caption feature will indeed make its way to the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a lineup of devices later this year, hopefully followed by devices from other OEMs down the road.

“We’re working closely with other Android phone manufacturers to make it more widely available in the coming year,” Google detailed in its post.

Live Caption allows for users to have real-time captions shown on-screen whenever media is playing on the device, regardless of its source.
