Google says that the dark theme for Google Voice is now rolling out starting today and should reach all within 15 days. They made the announcement through their G Suite Updates blog, as a heads-up to G Suite customers, but these announcements also impact regular users too.
With dark theme here for Google Voice, we’re getting close to having almost all of the big Google apps with a dark theme. Well, I should say that in theory we are getting close, I just don’t know that I’ve seen dark theme in very many apps that were supposed to have seen in recently.
I don’t have dark Gmail or dark Google Play or dark Google Maps or dark Assistant or dark Instagram, all of which were said to be getting the darkness. Meh. Staged rollouts are still ass, always will be, and killed the fun of Android.
