Earlier this week, Google updated the Contacts app, ridding it of almost all color by dunking it into a tub of white paint. Today, they’ve done the same for the Google Phone app.
When you update, you’ll see version 23.0 and like the Contacts app, will only get color in accents. The Google Phone app is now as white as it gets, with hints of blue. It’s not amazing if you like a little bit of color in your life.
This update could be in the Google Phone beta, just FYI. So if you aren’t seeing it right away, feel free to opt-in to the beta at the bottom of the app’s listing on Google Play.
