In mid-March, Microsoft launched SwiftKey 7.0, introducing a new toolbar feature for quickly accessing certain features for the keyboard. This week, SwiftKey is updating that toolbar with two functions the company did mention would soon arrive when they launched 7.0: The ability to share calendar events as well as your current location with just a couple of taps.
For the calendar, you can now share events with contacts, such as dinner plans or work plans, all through SwiftKey’s toolbar. The same goes for location. If someone needs to know where you are, you can send them the exact address of your location all from the toolbar.
According to SwiftKey, this new functionality is rolling out to US users now, with additional SwiftKey markets soon to receive it.
Have at it, SwiftKey fans.
