The Pixel and Pixel XL are selling out quickly through the Google Store. No, I’m not going to sit here and suggest that Google just sold 10 million phones in its opening week, but I am hoping that you got those orders in if you wanted the purely unlocked and Google-controlled version of the Pixel.

As of this morning, the Pixel XL appears to be completely sold out in all configurations and colors. The regular Pixel is still available, but only in Very Silver and Quite Black with 32GB of storage. The Really Blue and 128GB option is gone. I should point out that the regular Pixel in Very Silver is also showing a delayed shipping time of 5-6 weeks now, instead of the hard October 20 date. That could mean that it’s about gone as well.

When will Google re-stock? That’s anyone’s guess. Now the question – do you buy from Best Buy and hope it isn’t all locked up in Verizon’s world?

Cheers Ryan and @bdcostley!
