Google HK (Hong Kong?) posted a video over a week ago now that essentially gives us the first real glimpse as to what Gingerbread (Android 2.3) will look like.  The purpose of the video is to show off voice search in Cantonese, but you’ll see right away that device isn’t just running your average version of Android.  We’ve grabbed a few stills from the video which show off market listings, market app pages with 3 tabs, the launcher and as you see up top, the home screen.

So we definitely have green highlights on everything plus a black notification bar, but the rest looks really familiar.  Of course, we all know that appearance isn’t everything and that Google will more than likely have some extra special features packed into this new build such as video chatting and music streaming.  Can’t wait to see it.

Video and gallery after the break.
