Yep, that title says it all. Today, the whole crew here at Droid Life would like to announce that the DL Forums are live and ready for you to take over! It’s been a fun 9 month journey so far in the Droid community and this is the next step to helping continue our support for what we believe is the greatest lineup of smartphones on the planet.
We really just want the forums to be an extension of this site and a place for the unbelievable community here to gather and discuss topics in greater detail. Sometimes a single thread of comments on a post can be a little overwhelming, especially if you are looking for a very specific answer and we’re hoping this will fix that.
The forums have been set up in the simplest of manners with only 6 major categories and just a few very specific sub-categories. The last thing we wanted to do was scare you at launch, but know that we are open to suggestions and will definitely be evolving over time.
A couple of notes:
- Sign up is free.
- Each forum category has rules set up. Please read them.
- Birdman is dropping knowledge at the DL Forums.
- Enjoy!

- We would love to set you up a spot to release ROMs, hacks, etc. Just let us know!
Hosting:
- BeyondHosting.net hooked us up big time! Tyler and the crew had us up and running in what seemed like minutes and you will be more than pleased at the performance. I highly recommend you check them out should you need any hosting in the near future.

For those who think it is redundant:
Droid Life is where I get 90%, or more, of my Droid info. Over the last 8 months, I feel like I have become familiar with a number of the personalities here. So, I feel comfortable asking questions and sharing what experience I have without having to ease my way into a new “neighborhood”.

Sorry to say it but his is just duplication, there's no need for another forum with DF already in existence.
DL does it's job as a blog, breaking news as it happens, etc.
Man, I've tried registering like 20 times. I don't know whats going on,
I want to be a mod cause I am opinionated, I know everything, and I want to be able to censor those who disagree with me.
I expect a salary of about $100k a year too.
(this is not a knock at mods, just my reason to be one.. I obviously don't want the job; its a joke)

Kellex, you might get more people signing up to be moderator if you changed the address from jobs@droid-life.com to employment@droid-life.com. Im just saying a lot of us avoid anything with the name jobs in it 🙂
