The streak continues, as yet another title has launched onto Google Play as an NVIDIA SHIELD exclusive. The game is called Wonder Momo: Typhoon Booster, and while it is stated that the game will come to additional Tegra 4-powered devices in the future, this is still a pretty small percentage of Android gamers.
In Wonder Momo, which is apparently a comic strip that has been around for years and years, you play as Momoko, a well endowed schoolgirl/bikini model/superhero who battles the evil forces of Waru. Alright, you got me, this sounds pretty hot. (more…)
PC gamers out there have likely encountered Portal at some point, given its popularity and intriguing storyline. The game’s following has been bottle-capped, however, by the fact that it’s not available as a mobile title. Today, NVIDIA has announced that that is going to change, as they have teamed up with Valve to bring the unique game over to Android, seemingly exclusively on their SHIELD mobile console. (more…)

The accessories include a new Shell Case, perfect for absolute protection of your SHIELD. It’s always a bit of fun to spot well-known Android devices on TV shows or movies, and the latest device to hit the spotlight is the NVIDIA SHIELD. The Android-powered game console was used in NCIS: Los Angeles to spy on someone by a female character who was piloting a drone in Afghanistan. Hopeful gamers looking to score a deal this holiday season should look at NVIDIA’s website, as the company has marked down the price of SHIELD by $50, bringing the grand total to $249.99. If you caught the DL Show on Wednesday, I personally claimed that SHIELD was the biggest bust of 2013, for the sole reason that it was priced too highly to catch anyone’s interest, and as a result it seems to have sold poorly. This morning, NVIDIA announced a new software update for its mobile Android-powered game console, SHIELD. Over the course of its life, SHIELD has been receiving updates left and right it seems, from big bug fixes to major feature additions, such as the Gamepad Mapper and Console Mode update. In this newest update, Gamestream users will see a major improvement in graphics quality, as you can now stream your PC games in full 1080p at 60 FPS in Console Mode when using Ethernet. In addition, WiFi PC streaming has also been improved, allowing gamers to see more 60 FPS performance as well. (more…)
