HTC One (2014) Wallpapers Leaked Online Via System Dump

HTC One wallpaper header

Over the weekend, a system dump of the HTC One (2014) was performed by a member on XDA. As we have seen with previous system dumps, the world now has access to all of the wallpapers that HTC has preloaded with the device. Thankfully, they are actually pretty good papers.

From poking in the zip file, we can see there are lots of pretty photos taken of plants and waterscapes, as well as lots of geometric shape wallpapers. All of the colors will probably work nicely with the white icons and translucent bars on Kit Kat.

To use for yourself, download the zip file from MediaFire, extract (either on your desktop or your smartphone), then apply them as you would any other wallpaper.

Below we have placed a few of the wallpapers to give you an idea as to what to expect.

I wonder if there’s an improvement in this display over the original HTC One…I wouldn’t think so, but maybe they’ve improved the color reproduction, or something.

that sun/ocean/cloudone is very Asus-ish. I tip my cap to them, they are nice.

    Nothing to see here folks.

Screw sample camera images, WE WANT WALLPAPERS!

With all these leaks, and knowing that is the #1 most unusual feature, how the heck hasn’t anyone mentioned how the dual cameras work?
The only thing I can imagine is that HTC didn’t provide working camera software to anyone but their most trusted testers, as that is basically their “killer feature”.

EDIT: I think the 12m video mentioned that there wasn’t working camera software on his device, but I was focused more on the voice than the words and don’t want to relive that tbh.

Yea.. I laughed when Eric wrote this:
“Unfortunately for HTC, they have a terrible history of keeping upcoming phones under wraps before they officially launch.”

First, I believe leaks are just that, purposefully leaked and they all do it to create some hype. Second, HTC is doing a great job keeping under wraps key vital info, even Kellex mentioned that, as you just did too.

the leaks were done by HTC themselves

NOW THIS is a leak. Was getting kind of tired of leaks of the same pictures over and over. I have a weird thing for leaked Wallpapers

Have any of the devs gotten a hold of it yet? (mike1986, Llabtoofer, baadnewz, etc…)

These guys could almost definitely rip out a bit more than just wallpapers…

Might make using a ROM worthwhile again. ;-)

    Nothing to write home about.

Dear Mom, I thought of you today while looking at pastel nature wallpapers on Droid-Life. Nothing I’m interested in, but you might want to consider a new HTC One device this year. Love, your Son.
