Unrevoked Has a Fix for DROID Incredible Root, In Final Testing Now

The new update for the Droid Incredible broke the previous root method from unrevoked, but that hasn’t stopped their team from finding a new way to do it less than two weeks later.  According to a tweet sent out by them just a couple of hours ago, it looks like they’ve found what they need and are now testing it.  Maybe we’ll see the new version of unrevoked by the end of the weekend?  Stay tuned!

Cheers ibow!

  • Well Yes,
I was just about to root my phone and decided to wait until I got the update and they released a new version to root.

  • I have never received an update on my Inc so this has never been an issue for me but i have a question. Did the people who lost root not use unrevoked forever and turn their S-off? Or did that not work?

    • PSU_DI

No if you were rooted previously and had S-off it was easy to reroot. The biggest problem is to rooted users that had to exchange the phone for what ever the reason. The new phone has the update and that prevents them from being able to root. That and the new users that just bought the inc but want to root.
