Google is sending out $200 in credit towards the purchase of a Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL to eligible members, which can be combined with savings already taking place. The phones are already discounted by up to $300, meaning there’s a free max of $500 in savings waiting for eligible buyers. Combined with enhanced trade-in values that Google is currently offering, you can get your new Pixel phone for incredibly cheap.
We had one reader already email us, claiming they got a Pixel 10 Pro for just $86 after tax. Yup, that seems pretty good to us. They wrote, “I am a gold points member and got a perk for $200 of a 10 Pro or [1o Pro] XL. With the sale price and boosted trade in on my 9 Pro, I’m getting a 10 Pro for $86 after tax.”
Depending on your trade-in, your mileage may vary, but it’s certainly worth a look if you’re trying to upgrade your phone for the holidays.
Be on the lookout for that perk hitting your inbox directly from Google.

I have Gold status and I don't see this, bummer.
I did the same this $86 after trade in. Setup the phone last night. $200 discount + $250 current discount + $500 trade in. I also got $50 in store credits for being signed up for Gemini/Google One as "percent back."
I have gold and like others don't buy anything from the play store. I originally got it when I bought a year of play pass for like $30 but I've kept gold with just the free weekly point with gold. You only need 600 points for the year to keep it.
Two years in a row they gave really good discount on the phone around this time that I jump in on.
Gold and don't see perk or code. Oh well, probably would have been enough to make me bite. Haha
I have Gold Play Points status and I found the offer in my perks section for play points. I never got a email about it though.
Same.
So be sure to check the Play store if you have Gold or better status and want to take advantage of the extra discount.
Any idea what makes one "eligible" for the extra $200 credit?
Gold Play Points Reward Members. and Higher
So, basically if you spend hundreds of dollars on Google Play apps and in-app purchases, they’ll give you a few hundred off the phone. What a deal!
Nope, I'm gold and I don't spend a dime. Just claiming and spending the free points every Friday should get you to gold status.
Huh. I’ve honestly never bothered with it. Didn’t even know it was a thing.
Your loss — they even have Enhanced Customer Support, as well as the past 6 months, random drawing chances when claiming Friday weekly points for some hardware and accessories.
I spend 100% of my Play Points on the Credit. 100 points = $1.

through 2023, I did not claim any for Credit for a long time, and managed to get enough points via a few big bonuses that summer + consistently claiming that I had like $40 bucks to claim, that is NOT normal lol.

It is easy to be Gold Point status without even trying. You just need to claim the free points every Friday, and you will always be Gold, minimum.
That said, I have been Platinum since they introduced Play Points in 2019 — and this year I barely made it to Platnium again for the rest of next year this week lol.
You do not have to spend a bazillion dollars. My "rewards" in my claimed points are often as little as "2" for a weekly prize, but occasionally 500
Google's MSRP for their phones really almost doesn't matter. They're discounted so often. I love it.
I was sooo close to grabbing one. I'm trying so hard to pass on the 10 Pro XL and keep my 9. It's so cheap with this added
This would happen a few days after I finally decided to pull the trigger on one. I got $400 off with the $100 YTTV discount, but another hundred would have been appreciated.
Why do people forget that Returns exist?
Why do people think that others are desperate enough to go through the hassle of returning a phone for a little bit of money? Why do you act as is you’re the only person with a functioning brain? Get out of here with that BS.
