Verizon Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8+ and Note 8 Get Updated Security Patches (Updated: LG G6, Too!)

Verizon is sending out the July security patch to owners of the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8. For owners of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, they are receiving June’s patch.

Once updated, S8 owners will be on software version PPR1.180610.011.G950USQU5DSG7, S8+ will have PPR1.180610.011.G955USQU5DSG7, and Note 8 owners will see PPR1.180610.011.N950USQS6DSG4. For the June patch, Galaxy S7 will be on R16NW.G930VVRUACSF2 and S7 Edge owners will have build R16NW.G935VVRUACSF2.

Update: Verizon also detailed the May security patch for the LG G6, labeled as version VS98820j.
