The official Imgur app is receiving an update today on Google Play, bringing a few new features that Imgur hopes will make users happy. With the update, users can now search the servers and within GIFs, allowing for quick discovery of images you might enjoy.
In addition, Imgur is adding faster-loading GIFs, thanks to improved performance tweaks. Lastly, users can benefit from a revamped profile design and streamlined notifications for comments on posts. This should bring a more polished feel to the social aspect of the service.
The update does not appear to be live for me quite yet, but be on the lookout through Google Play for it.
