Save $48 on the Nexus 6 at T-Mobile With This Coupon Code

T-Mobile is currently hosting a deal on the Nexus 6 that will slash $48 off the price. The deal is good for both 32GB and 64GB models, so at their $649 and $699 prices, you are looking at $601 and $651, respectively, after the discount. That’s not a bad price for a phone that Google and Motorola still can’t seem to keep in stock.

In our Nexus 6 review, we called it the best Nexus ever made. And even though the phone is a whale, consuming media on it is quite enjoyable. In fact, using it in general is a joy, assuming you have two hands free on the regular.

Is this phone ever coming to Verizon? I thought I read pre release it was.

I walked into Verizon to buy my wife a note 4 and I bust out my N6 whale and started playing a game. And all of a sudden 4 people came out of the back and were asking to handle it. Lmfao.

    Nice deal, but no upgrades.

Picked one up at my local T-Mobile today. Coming from an S5, this phone really does seem huge. Love the display and these dual speakers though!

The only thing I don’t like about the Nexus 6 is the placement of the on/off switch and volume buttons. They put them to make it easier to one hand it. Makes it harder to use in a car dock. I would like them where they were on the Nexus 5. The right side top.

I HATED that too at first, coming from a Nexus 5.

Trust me, you do get used to it. It just takes a while.

Lol Kellen can not go through one Nexus 6 article without mentioning the word whale.

I use my Nexus 6 single handedly all the time. The constant “need” for two hands is ridiculous and is completely exaggerated.

Totally. I kind of balance it. Pinky on the bottom, ring and middle finger very close to the bottom, use my index finger to prop the phone forward. I didn’t even notice I was doing it, but I use it one-handed all the time.

Sorry T…even for a $48 discount, I wouldn’t get a Nexus 6. Had read too many negative stuff with this phone. I would have taken the deal if it has been Moto G perhaps. /B0ls0n from http://www.phonestop6.tk

Same. After having a Nexus 6 for a month and a half, I use it one handed maybe 80% of the same amount of time as the N5. I was pretty surprised considering all the hyperbole certain blog owners throw at it.

For scrolling apps (web, FB, IG, G+), it’s still 99% one handed just like it always was.

Mom (67 years old) just bought hers (it had to fit in her little pocketbook to qualify, and it just fit). She’s loving it so far.

Had mine for 3 days now and would have to agree. I have no problem using it one handed and I have average sized hands for a guy.

Given, two handed typing etc on this is preferred, but one handed use certainly is not out of the question on it.

This might be helpful for those of you looking to purchase a Moto 360 or Moto X. Up to $140 off @ Motorola.com ($140 off $499.99 or more or $50 off $249.99 or more) http://motorola-blog.blogspot.com/2015/01/feel-motolove-with-up-to-140-off-your.html

You have to share your google contacts with Motorola.com to buy anything on Motorola.com. It’s almost as bad as amazon requiring amazon app store to use amazon apps. I may break down and create a new bogus google account, but I doubt it.

Hmmm … could I buy a N6 from T-Mobile without any service and then just use it on my VZW unlimited data plan and replace my Droid Maxx?

    1. Suicide_Note Avatar
      Suicide_Note

No, as TMo won’t sell to you unless you also purchase service from them.

You have to have the service I believe for a month before T-Mobile will unlock it.

Is this possibly for new customers only? The offer code disappears from the product description once I log into my account.

It is for new customers only. However, upon calling a Tmo rep and asking she gave me the $48 credit so I didn’t even have to wait for it to ship and picked it up in store.

      1. Jarrett Lennon Kaufman Avatar

That gives me hope since I ordered mine online yesterday.

the quality of the n6 is much better than the n5, being able to use it on verizon is alone worth the extra money.

          1. Chase Hammer J Avatar

Im not bashing the phone (aside from its too F’n big) but just the price.

You could have saved more money not buying the N5 also. I have Iboth and actually 2 -N5’s but the Nexus 6 is so much better. The speakers and the battery on the N5 suck. I love the size of the N6 also.

          3. Mech_Engr_09 Avatar
            Mech_Engr_09

Yeah I mean, the speakers, battery life, screen, etc are all great on the n6. It’s the first no compromise nexus.

          4. Mech_Engr_09 Avatar
            Mech_Engr_09

I think people just bash on the size because they haven’t given it a chance. Sure it may seem big when you’re holding it in the store compared to a smaller phone, but once you’ve used it for a couple days, you don’t even really see that as an issue.

          5. Suicide_Note Avatar
            Suicide_Note

It’s priced like the high-end phone that it is. I loved my N5, but you can tell where compromises were made to keep the price low. Not so with the N6, which blows its little brother away in every respect.

While that is expensive, most people I would assume(I know for me at least) go ahead and sell their previous phone. Thereby alleviating majority of the cost of the new phone. You could probably get $400 for your nexus 5, so this would only cost you $200.

      1. shooter50 Avatar
        shooter50

$400.00? Where can you sell a phone for more than it cost new??

Okay bad example for the nexus 5. Didn’t know how much they went for. But when I bought my note 4 for 600 or whatever it was, I was able to sell my G3 on eBay for 400. So its possible with the right combo.
