That wild time of Samsung dropping an extra 25% off the Galaxy Z Fold 5 if you shopped through their app has come to a close, but the electronics giant is still willing to give you a big discount as a last minute holiday deal shopper. UPDATE 12/13: I know I said yesterday that the Shop Samsung app situation was on the outs, but I now want to take it all back. Samsung is doing a 1-day deal for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 today that gets you 20% off plus the $1,000 trade-in and the free storage upgrade. While the Black Friday deal might have been slightly better at 25% off, this is almost as good. This is about as big of a discount as you’ll find.
To recap this deal, you need to install the Shop Samsung app through Google Play and then hit deal links (like this one) from your phone to launch into the app. By doing so, you’ll see the 20% off deal for the Fold 5, dropping it to $1,439 to start. You can combine the trade-in with the 20% off to really make this deal huge. In all, you could save $1,279 off Samsung’s best foldable.
