Issa Rae is the New Google Assistant Voice to Try!

Issa Rae is the new limited time voice you can have takeover your Google Assistant-infused world. Google announced the new voice today, which should be live for all to switch to. Just say, “Hey Google, talk like Issa” to get started.

Like the voice of John Legend that arrived in April, you can get responses from Issa to typical requests like. “What’s the weather,” “Tell me a joke,” or “Sing me a song.” Google says you should also ask “Hey Google, do you love Daniel or Lawrence?” and “Hey Google, tell me something awkward.”

When the command isn’t quite as typical, you’ll hear responses in a standard Google Assistant voice.

Again, just tell Google to “talk like Issa” to get started or head into your phone’s Google Assistant settings.
