Waze Gets YouTube Music Integration, Because That’s Important

We’re still waiting for YouTube Music to become a usable app over Google Play Music, meanwhile I’ve fully switched over to Spotify, but Google’s other music streaming service just received support inside of Waze.

With this, Waze users can control their YouTube Music playback directly inside of the Waze app. Navigable from inside Waze, you’ll find access to your YouTube Music saved artists, mixes, and all that jazz without having to leave the app.

How to Enable

• Open the Waze app
• Tap the music note icon to select YouTube Music as your audio app, and start enjoying your audio content directly from Waze.
• Don’t see the music note icon? Head to Settings > Audio Player to turn on “Show Audio Player”

I suppose integration is important, but still, what the heck is Google doing with YouTube Music?
