Booking a flight can be expensive, so of course, folks are always looking for the best deal. Well, if you book with Google Flights, Google is offering a money-back price guarantee for your ticket.
How it works is pretty straightforward.
For some flight prices, Google’s algorithms are confident that the price you’re seeing is the lowest available before the flight departs. After you book on Google, we’ll keep monitoring the price until take-off, and if it drops, you’ll automatically get the difference back.
Google says that in order to get any money back, the difference between prices will have to be greater than $5, but the max you can get back is $500. We assume a $500+ price difference in most airline ticket buying instances is rare.
Google goes on to say that this feature is available for select itineraries originating in the US with domestic or international destinations.
