Verizon Moto G6, G6 Play, LG V40, Galaxy Note 8, and RED Hydrogen One Get Security Patches

Verizon is shipping out plenty of updates this week, although, none of the following are as exciting as the Galaxy S9 and S9+’s update to Pie with One UI.

Regardless, we have updates for the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, LG V40, Galaxy Note 8, and RED Hydrogen One. For both Motorola devices, the update is the January security patch. For the V40, owners will see December’s patch. The Galaxy Note 8 is picking up January’s patch, and last but not least, RED’s Hydrogen One is getting December’s patch.
