Samsung made its Bixby-powered smart speaker, Galaxy Home, official this morning at its Unpacked event.
Featuring 6 AKG-tuned speakers in a circular shape on top of a tripod design, Galaxy Home is quite a bit larger than your standard Google Home, even capable of being placed on the floor thanks to its design. It has a subwoofer too and 8 far-field microphones for picking up your voice, since Bixby is here as well.
Thanks to natural sound processing, it tries to do its best at surround sound, as well as a Soundsteer feature that can direct audio to you.
For Galaxy Home pricing and availability, Samsung didn’t announce either. They aren’t expected to really dive into that until their Samsung Developer Conference in November.
